Christy Dawn Rash, 42, of Conover died peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at her home. Born October 27th, 1977 she was the daughter of Roger Elder and Sherry Eckard Elder. Christy will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, and wife. She was a self-less person who always put others before herself. Christy loved being able to stay home and take care of her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 8 years William Rash of the home; two daughters Haley Beard of the home and Katy Rash of the home; three sons Hunter Punch of Claremont, Gabriel Beard currently stationed with the US Army, and William Rash of Minnesota; step-mother Janelle Elder of Bethlehem; aunts and uncles Susan Sigmon (Doug) of Conover, Louise Sigmon (Wayne) of Bethlehem, Dean Elder (Martha Anne) of Hickory, Judy Ramsey of Denver, Jane Hefner of Taylorsville, and Terry Elder of Taylorsville.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
The family is having a private memorial service at this time.
