Cindy Sigmon

Cindy Renee Sigmon 48 of Connelly Springs died Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at her residence. Born March 1st, 1969, she was the daughter of Buford Young and Wanda Elkins Willix.   Her mother, Wanda Louise Willix of Long View and her father, Buford Allen Young of Icard; two sons, Michael Lee Gouge of Connelly Springs, Joshua Matthew Sigmon of Valdese and a daughter, Rhonda Renee Curtis and husband Chris of Hudson; two sisters, Cristeen Whisnant of Longview and Michelle Huffman and husband Charles of Hickory; four grandsons, Malikah Gouge, Caden Curtis, Noah Curtis, Ezra Curtis and a soon to be born granddaughter; four nieces, Teresa Nicole Gouge, Jessica Daniel Gouge, Alyssa Rose Gouge, and Katy Buckner and three nephews, Grayson Huffman, Landon Laws and Kolton Smith survive her. Her maternal grandparents, Willie Edgar Elkins and Jo Alice Elkins; a brother Terry Wayne Travis and the love of her life, Eddie Michael Brittain preceded her in death.   Her greatest loves were God and her family. Cindy was loved and will be missed by many.  We love you, Mom.  Love, Josh and Lee. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday April 26,2017 at Connelly Springs First Baptist Church located at 6460 Spring Street, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
