Clara Bly Myers Busic, 97, a life-long resident of Wilkes County was born October 2, 1913 to James Gilbright and Alice Billings Myers. She is today with perfect eyes and ears reunited in the warm embrace of all nine of her siblings, her husband of 48 years Ben D. Busic and her devoted son Jack Ben Busic, Sr. who exactly 20-years ago, like his mother today, left the constant and abiding love and care of family to enter the glory of God?s kingdom An expert seamstress, an exceptional cook, a dedicated wife and mother and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother that remained active thru her later years and able to enjoy the many blessings of a growing family and a community of friends. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Dea Busic Cox of Newton, two grandsons, Jack Ben Busic Jr. and wife Nancy of Clemmons, NC and Stephen M. Busic and wife Shannon of Hickory, NC and five loving great-grandchildren, Lauren, Caroline, Ben, Jay and Jackson Busic, and many other relatives and friends who were of constant and comforting support. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 2:00pm at Oakwoods Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC with the Rev. Robert Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service at the Church. Burial, immediately following the service, will be held at Mountlawn Memorial Park, North Wilkesboro, N.C. Pallbearers include, Tony Douglas, Nelson Price, George Stroud and Butch Martin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakwoods Baptist Church, 2385 Brushy Mt.
