Clarence Osborne Brown, 78, of Vale died Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his residence. Born in Mecklenburg County on October 25th, 1946 he was the son of the late Clarence Osborne Brown Sr. and Bonnie Lee Brown who he reunited at the river with on Saturday.
Clarence was an Army veteran who served in the Vietman War. He spent 56 wondreful years married to his best friend. Together, they had three children, four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
His wife, Brenda Gail Davis Brown of the home; his daughters, Cindy Hester and husband, Greg and Teresa Wise and partner, Chad; his son, Clarence Osborne Brown III; his brother, Baxter Brown and wife, Louise; three sisters, Edith Stiwalt and husband, Charlie, Hazel Robinson and Georgia Sandford and husband, Mark; four grandchildren, Racheal Reedy and husband, Shane, Samantha Sumpter and husband, Chanler, Ashley Wise and partner, Mary and Alex Wise and partner, Brea and two children, five great-grandchildren, Madilyn Hester, Carter, Averlee, Charleigh and Shawn Reedy and numerous neices and nephews survive him.
The graveside service will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Matthew Lail officiating.
