Connie Diane Roseman Hutto, 63, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 14th, 2019 at her residence. Born September 21st, 1955, and long-time resident of Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Hilton and the late Elmer Eugene Cook.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Jenifier Diane Jonas & husband Stevie of Taylorsville; two granddaughters, Stephanie Mullins and Piper Jonas; one grandson, Jake Jonas; one great-grandson, Steven Mullins; sister, Libby Workman & husband Lee of Connelly Springs; four brothers, Charles Cook & wife Debbie of Taylorsville, Doug Cook & wife Lisa of Hickory, Steve Cook & wife Bonnie of Algonac, MI, Jason Cook & wife Beth of Conover; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and the many people touched by her love.
Connie was preceded in death by her sons, Donald Lee Roseman, Jr. and Billy Alan Roseman, as well as her husband Donald Lee Roseman, Sr.
Connie was a loving individual; she was the truest picture of unconditional love. Her family and those she loved meant everything to her. She was an avid reader of novels, enjoyed horror movies, and listening to country music. Though, few things brought her as much joy as caring for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews—giving her love to them and guiding them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed here on Earth but there is MUCH joy in Heaven. Oh, what a reunion!
Honoring her wishes, the family will have a private memorial in coming days; a public Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of a donation to Jenkins Funeral Home for her final expenses. Sympathy cards may be addressed to the family and mailed to PO Box 1472; Hildebran, NC 28637.
