Daisy Hollar

Biography Daisy Lillian Teague Hollar, 92 of Old Conover Startown Road, Newton died Wednesday, November 02, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born April 9, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Allison Winston Teague & Clara Mae Walser Teague. A daughter, Coleen Teague Moses of Newton; a son, Michael Dean Hollar and 16 grand-children survive her. Her husband of many years, William Eugene Hollar preceded her in death. The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. The Rev. Dennis Pitts and Don Sigmon will officiate. Burial will be at Blowing Rock Cemetery in Blowing Rock, NC at a later date. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
