Dale Woldridge

Dale Louise Woldridge, formerly of Sarasota Florida died in God?s hands on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born in Scranton Pennsylvania, raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles Simpson Wilson of Massachusetts and the late Marian Louise Armbrust Wilson. Dale was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School and was employed by Amtrick Instruments of Sellersville Pennsylvania for five years. She also worked in the construction industry for many years in Florida. Dale was artistic and enjoyed painting, embroidery and working with stained glass. She loved the warm weather, sunshine and beautiful beaches of Sarasota Florida. She enjoyed nature and most of all her family. A daughter, Ella Woldridge of Valdese; a son, Ryan Michael Woldridge; three sisters, Carolyn Rogers and husband Quincy Sr. of Quakerstown, Pennsylvania, Diane Fowlkes, of Lansing, Michigan and Dana Wilson & husband Charles Pratt of Grafton, Massachusetts; a brother, Joseph Wilson & wife Christine Wilson of Perkasie, Pennsylvania; three grand-children; and several nieces & nephews, including Christopher Shepherd, Hailey Rogers and Quincy Rogers Jr. survive her. Her devoted mother, Marian Louise Armbrust Wilson preceded her in death. A funeral service will be 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Startown/Jenkins Cemetery in Newton. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Disher will officiate. Condolence messages may be sent to www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
