Dana Miller

Dana Worth Miller, 89, of Hickory, went to his heavenly home Monday, August 26, 2024 at Carolina Caring in Newton. He was born in Watauga County on October 10th, 1934 to the late Frank and Clara Miller.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Novella Miller, his son, Tony Buff and his brothers, Glen Miller of South Carolina, Jerry Miller of Lenoir, Russell Miller of Boone and sister, Dorothy Roberts of Hickory.

He was a faithful member of Victory Baptist church and retired from Sherrill's Furniture of Hickory at the age of 83.

He is survived by and was a loving dad to his children, Tina Barnes and husband, Eddie and Ricky Buff of the home, Lisa Robinson and husband David of Hickory, Sherry Grindstaff and husband Paul of Hickory; seven grandchildren and families and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Burial will take place at the Victory Baptist Church cemetery Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. There will be a celebration of life service at Victory Baptist Church on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. David Robinson, Pastor Paul Grindstaff and Evangelist Tina Barnes officiating.
