Daniel Robin Allison, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the age of 61 surrounded by his family. Daniel was born on May 6, 1963 to the late Daniel Thomas and Rose Edna Allison.
Daniel is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Linda Allison, who stood by his side through life's journey with unwavering love and dedication. He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter, Tabitha Cornelius and her husband DeShar, and his son, Adam Flowers. Daniel was the adored "Poppaw" of two beautiful grandchildren, Lillian and Leah, who brought immense joy to his life. His brother, Howard "Tommy" Allison, and his wife Debbie also survive him, as do cherished nieces and nephews, Alley Prestwood, Nicole Allison, Andy Young, Christopher Moses, Jennifer Lail, and Angel Moses.
He is preceded in death by his dear sister, Rita Allison, whom he held close to his heart.
Throughout his career, Daniel was a dedicated employee at Assa Abloy, where he not only loved his work, but gained lasting friendships. Daniel will remembered as a man who could build anything he set his mind to, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and craftsmanship.
Daniel was a man of faith and carried with him a sense of humor and attitude reminiscent of his father. He brightened the lives of those around him with lightheartedness and sincerity and was deeply admired for his ability to lift spirits and bring people together.
A celebration of Daniel's life and legacy will be arranged by Jenkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service. His family invites those who knew him to join in honoring his memory and sharing in the joy he brought to the lives of so many.
