Danny Bowman

Danny Marlin Bowman 67 of Granite Falls died February 7, 2013 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born May 16, 1945 he was the son of Willie Bowman of Newton and the late Leroy Bowman. A U.S. Army veteran he served in Vietnam in 1968-1969. A life-long carpenter he was an avid fisherman. His wife Margo Kistler of Granite Falls; a daughter, Daniell Setzer and husband Monty of Hickory; a son, Jason Bowman and wife Candy of Taylorsville; a brother Randy Allen Bowman and wife Renee of Vale and a grandson, Ethan Setzer of Longview survive him. A brother, Steve Bowman preceded him in death. A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Gober officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the ceremony at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the DAV 4730 Stagecoach Rd. Catawba, NC 28609.
