Darrell Luther Craddock, 63 of Lincolnton died Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at his residence. Born September 12th, 1950 he was the son of Vivian Craddock of Eden, NC and the late Martin Luther Craddock, Jr. He was employed by Fieldcrest for 24 years and Coca Cola for 12 years and volunteered at Hospice. An avid writer, reader and story teller, he loved spending time at the beach with his family. In addition to his mother, Vivian Amos Craddock of Eden, NC, his wife of 41 years, Linda Dale Slaughter Craddock of the home; two daughters, Beverly Jones and husband Gary of Efland, Teresa Hein and husband Chris of Morganton; a son, Brian Craddock and wife Regina Sweat of Maiden; a sister, Pamela Koch and husband Russ of Bloomfield, NJ; three grandsons, Ira and Levi Hein and Elijah Coronado survive him. A Celebration of Darrell's Life will be 4:00 pm Thursday, July 10th, 2014 at Eastwind United Pentecostal Church in Lincolnton with Pastor Jim Gideon officiating.
