Davey Black

Davey Alford Black, 71, of Stanley passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born, February 4th, 1953 he was the son of the late Raymond and Kathleen Black. Davey was a loving devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Morris Black of the home; his children, Lauren Miller (Jason) and Davey Ray Black (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Noah Miller, Hannah Miller, Carter Ray Black, Eli Black, and Peyton Black; and a sister, Angela Teske.

In addition to his parents, Raymond and Kathleen Black, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Waters Black and his brother, Dennis Black.

The Memorial Service will be 2PM Thursday March 7, 2024 with John Moore officiating the service at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, located at 4081 Startown Road Newton, NC 28658.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church located at 4266 River Rd Hickory, NC 28602
