David Jones

David Michael Jones (Mike) 68 of Hickory passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Carolina Caring. Born April 15th,1954 he was the son of the late Ralph Delano Jones and Norma McCall Jones. Mike loved riding his Harley alongside his wife of 37 years. He had a passion for music and playing his bass guitar. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving Mike is his wife Teresa Jones of Hickory; a daughter Kimberly Raulston (Phillip) of Salisbury; two sons, Shane Jones (Ann) of Talladega AL, and Brent Jones (Wendy) of Raleigh; his mother, Norma Jones of Forest City; three grandsons, Joshua Teague (Claudia) of Kannapolis, Kayton Raulston of Boone, and Reese Raulston of Mooresville; two sisters, Cathy Swink (Paul) of Forest City, and Denise McCraw of Forest City; along with many loved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Sweet Water Baptist Church, 601 21st St. SE, Hickory, NC 28602.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service.
