David Long

David Stuart "Steve" Long 63 of Hickory died Sunday, May 22nd, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born August 27th, 1952, he was the son of the late James Long and Hettie Long. His wife of 43 years, Geraldine Long of the home; two sisters, Sue Gaddy and husband Bobby of Marion and Sybil Hagerty and husband Paul of Granite Falls; a brother, James Long, Jr. of Hildebran; a sister in law, Judy Blackburn of Taylorsville; a brother-in-law, Roger Roberts of Valdese; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Bouncer survive him. In addition to his parents, a sister-in-law, Cynthia Whitlock, preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
