Deasmon Wilfong

Deasmon Morris Wilfong, 40, of Hickory passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Carolina Caring. Born September 20th, 1981 he was the son of Bertie Carrine Anderson and the late Ronald Lee Wilfong. Deasmon will be remembered for being a sweet and caring person who was always so respectful; he was always there to listen when you needed him. He loved his video games and the band The Smiths. Deasmon's beautiful smile and singing (if you were lucky enough to sneak up on him to hear) will forever be missed.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Scott Wilfong; his mother Bertie Carrine Anderson; a sister Katina Anderson (Desmond Smith) of Hickory; a niece Tracia Smith of Hickory; a nephew Kaylond Smith of Hickory; two great-nephews Kamaruius Smith and Zamyus Smith both of Hickory; his mother and father-in-law Rod and Phyllis Turnham; and numerous special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Lee Wilfong.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 6:30 PM at the Worship Center of Christ United Methodist Church at 2416 Zion Church Road, Hickory, NC 28601.

Jenkins Funeral Home is not involved with the service.
