Deborah Helms

Deborah Anne Hicks Helms, 60 of Meadowbrook Drive, Maiden died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at her residence. Born August 24, 1951 she was the daughter of Katherine Lucille Goudelock of Gastonia and the late Robert Lee Hicks. Deborah worked for WalMart for 21 years. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Julian ?Eddie? Helms of the home; a daughter, Angela Gail Craig and husband Chris of W. Lincolnton; two sons, Christopher Michael Helms of Maiden and Steven Eddie Helms of Iron Station; a sister, Rebecca Harris and husband John of Columbia, SC; a brother, Samuel Hicks of Gastonia; and four grand-children, Andrew, Caitlin, Cassey and Abbie survive her. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Maiden Church of God. The Rev. Benny Manning will officiate.
