Deborah Ray

Deborah Ann Ray 58 of Vale died Monday February 18, 2013 at her residence. Born September 27, 1954 she was the daughter of Sarah Ruth Buff and the late Ual Lawrence Buff. For 25 years she worked for R & R Hosiery. She was an avid cook and enjoyed canning and gardening. In addition to her mother, Sara Ruth Buff of Newton, her husband Bobby Lee Ray of the home; three brothers, Dale Buff and wife Linda of Hickory, Jerry Buff and wife Elaine of Vale and Dennis Buff of Hickory; a number of nieces and nephews survive her. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 21, 2013 at Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Thursday, one hour prior, at the church. Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
