Della Mae Middleton 79 of Newton died Sunday, February 24th, 2019 at her residence. Born, December 11th, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Calvin Kipling Staples and Bertha Makula Staples.
Her daughter, Pamela Jean Delvechio of Conover; a brother, Donald Staples of Norwalk, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael Watkins of Conover, Amanda Chatman of Conover and Susanna Segrist of Bryson City and three great grandchidren survive her.
A son, Barry Allen Segrist preceded her in death.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
