Denis James Bagley

Denis James Bagley, 74, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Carolina Caring Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Born, August 31st, 1950 he was the son of the late Rudolph Edward Bagley and Elizabeth Irene Bagley.

Denis was a proud Navy veteran and served aboard the USS Independence CV-62, dedicating 36 years to running the ship's reunion group, fostering connections among fellow servicemen. He had a deep passion for nature photography and was an avid auto racing enthusiast. Denis also delighted in engaging in home improvement projects, showcasing his craftsmanship and creativity.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th, 2025 from 3-4:30PM in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. At 4:30PM family and friends are welcome to share remarks. The burial will be 10AM, Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 at Salisbury National Cemetery located at 501 Statesville Blvd Salisbury, NC, 28144.
