Dennis Oliver Childers, 83, of Maiden passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Atrium Health Lincoln. Born, May 14th, 1941 he was the son of the late Thomas and Faye Childers.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Childers; his sister, Marilyn Childers; his brothers, Gray Childers and Clinton Childers; and a number of loved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Hadsall and Gail Ellis; and his three brothers, Randall Childers, Joe Childers, and Robin Childers.
A graveside service for friends and family will be 12PM Wednesday September 25th, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery located at 4536 Hickory Lincolnton Hwy Newton, NC 28658.
