Devon Henry Morrison, 74, of Newton passed away Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at Carolina Caring. Born, March 4th, 1949 he was the son of the late Waitsel and Bernice Morrison.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years,Tammy Morrison of the home; a son Jason Morrison (Heather) of Denver; a daughter Amber Franklin (Cory) of Connelly Springs; a stepson, Jackie Bowlin of Statesville; two stepdaughters, Rebecca Bowlin of Woodruff SC, and Tamitha Bowlin of Statesville; grandchildren, Alayna Franklin, Cooper Morrison, Evelyn Morrison, Tristan Bowlin, Alissa Bowlin, Joshua McCrary, Destiny Williams, Brittany King, and Savannah King; and many loved great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Carol Brinkley and Melva Adams.
The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2PM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church located at 2639 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092. The Memorial Service will follow at 2PM.
Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
