Dewell Sigmon
January 21, 1933 — February 24, 2019
Dewell Ervin Sigmon 86 of Hickory died Sunday, February 24th, 2019 at Trinity Ridge. Born, January 21st, 1933 he was the son of the late Roscoe Ervin Sigmon Jr. and Reba Seline Dixon. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will always be remembered for his love of Bingo and his sense of humor.
A daughter, Melanie Cook and husband Kelly; a son, Richard Sigmon of Hickory; two grandchildren, Ethan Sigmon and Sydney Johnson; his sister in law, Judy Stafford of Hickory and his nephew, Tony Stafford of Hickory survive him.
His wife, Shirley Moose Sigmon and his daughter, Melinda Sigmon Linder preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday March 3, 2019 at Trinity Ridge in Mountain View. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to Faith Reformed Church 204 19th Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28602.
