Diane Eller Holt 70 of Newton went home to be with her Lord and beloved family on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born March 14th, 1950 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Alter Conley Eller and Katie Ruth Eller of Newton.
She was employed for 22 years in the family business Eller Frames Inc. Diane was a member of Hickory Pentecostal Holiness Church. Diane was "Nana" to the joy of her heart, Kelsey Palmer and Sarah Palmer of Newton, Jonathan Palmer of Connelly Springs and Katie and Simon Lawson of Clover, SC, six great-grand children.
Diane was Preceded in death by her father, A.C Eller, mother Katie Eller and Brother, Chris Eller and four precious grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters Melody Holt Laws (Tracie) of Conover and Heather Holt Lawson (Tom) of Clover, SC. A sister Darlene (Billy) Pipes of Hickory: Son, Daren (Tammy) Blakenship, and children Damian, Keegan, Joelle and Conley Blankenship; niece Amber Eller, and children Katelyn Eller, Carissa Montgomery and Isabella Eller; and nephew Justin Eller (Kristin), and children Jocelyn, Andrew and Alexander Eller.
The family will have a private graveside service conducted by Reverend Billy F. Pipes.
Burial will be Catawba Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hickory Pentecostal Holiness Church.
