Dixie Burleson

Dixie Carpenter Burleson 71, of Taylorsville died Friday, November 10th, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born March 25th, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Carl Carpenter and Maude Greene Carpenter.  A daughter Pam Setzer and husband Tommy of Taylorsville; two sisters Margaret Carpenter of Thomasville, Lois Styles of Thomasville; three brothers Leroy Carpenter and wife Juanita of Plumtree, Lester Carpenter of Taylorsville, Bobby Carpenter and wife Patsy of Spruce Pine; two grand daughters Courtney Bebber and husband Michael of Taylorsville, and Kristen Setzer of Taylorsville; and three great grandchildren Ethan and Noah Bebber, and Elan Hayes survive her.
Her loyal companion Taco also survives her.  In addition to her parents; her husband Larry Douglas Burleson preceded her in death.   No Service is planned at this time.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friendship Lutheran Church Building Imporovement Fund at 5300 Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681.   Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
