Dolores Ceja Sánchez, 79 años, de San Juan Palmira, murió el jueves 17 de octubre de 2024 en casa, rodeada del cariño de su familia. Nacido el 14 de marzo de 1945 en Michoacán de Ocampo, México. Era hija del fallecido Julio Ceja Mendoza y Esther Sánchez Ochoa. A Dolores le encantaba bailar, festejar, y pasar tiempo con su familia.

A Dolores le sobreviven ocho hijos, Luis García Ceja de Lincolnton, Carolina del Norte, Manuel García Ceja de Thomasville, GA, Jesús García Ceja de Union City, CA, Olga Lidia Romero de Aiken, Carolina del Sur, María García Ceja de Iron Station, Carolina del Norte, José Juan García Ceja de Lincolnton, Carolina del Norte, Sara García Ceja de Wilmington, DE, y Amparo García Ceja de Lincolnton, Carolina del Norte; y 26 nietos.

A Dolores le precedió la muerte de su amado esposo Luis García Rodríguez, quien falleció el 8 de septiembre de 2008.

Ella descansara al lado de su querido esposo en el Panteón Municipal de Chavinda, Municipio de Chavinda, Michoacán de Ocampo, México.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 3:00 p.m. del viernes 25 de octubre de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica Romana St. Joseph ubicada en 720 West 13th Street, Newton, NC 28658.

Dolores Ceja Sanchez, 79, of Lincolnton died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Decedent's Home. Born March 14th, 1945 in Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Julio Ceja Mendoza and Esther Sanchez Ochoa. Dolores loved to dance and to spend time with family.

Dolores Ceja Sanchez, 79, of San Juan Palmira, died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at home surrounded by the love of her family. Born March 14th, 1945 in Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Julio Ceja Mendoza and Esther Sanchez Ochoa. Dolores loved to dance, celebrate important moments, and spend time with family.

Dolores is survived by eight children, Luis Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton, NC, Manuel Garcia Ceja of Thomasville, GA, Jesus Garcia Ceja of Union City, CA, Olga Lidia Romero of Aiken, SC, Maria Garcia Ceja of Iron Station, NC, Jose Juan Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton, NC, Sara Garcia Ceja of Wilmington, DE, and Amparo Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton, NC; and 26 grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Luis Garcia Rodriquez who passed on September 8, 2008.

She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at Panteón Municipal de Chavinda, Chavinda Municipality, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico.

The funeral mass will be held 3:00pm, Friday, October 25, 2024 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church located at 720 West 13th Street, Newton, NC 28658.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm Friday, October 25th, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28602.
