Don Dixon

Don Rockne Dixon, 75 of 16th Street NE died Wednesday April 4, 2007 at his residence. A US Air Force Veteran, he was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Conover and worked on antique clocks in his spare time. Born November 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Vernon Kenlow Dixon and Alice Helen Dixon. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Alice and Rick Isenhour of Newton; a son, Bobby Vernon Dixon of Hiddenite and three grandchildren, Lauren Isenhour, Landon Isenhour and Kelsey Dixon. His wife Barbara Luann Dixon preceded him in death. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Dillard officiating.
