Donald Canipe

Donald Ray Canipe, 60 of 1st Avenue NW, Hickory died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at CVMC. Donald was born January 2, 1949 in Cleveland County to his parents, the late James & Laura Naomi York Canipe. Two daughters; Donna Bolick of Taylorsville, Pamela Gorman of Connelly Springs, Three sisters; Patricia Moore of Hickory, Debbie Livengood of Hickory, Cathie Mathis of Hickory, a brother; Kenneth & (Lila) Canipe of Hickory, three grand-children and 1 great grand-child survive him. A Celebration of Life and Worship service will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Bright Light Tabernacle. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Pastor Ray York will officiate. Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, 500 East Morehead Street, Suite 211, Charlotte NC 28202. Condolence messages may be sent to www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net. The Canipe family has entrusted arrangements to Jenkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Newton.
