Donald Dennis Rogers, Sr., 86, of Lincolnton passed away Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 at his home. Born, November 13th,1936 he was the son of the late Carmel Dexter Rogers and Arzelia Samantha Rogers.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Whitener Rogers of Lincolnton; two daughters, Becky Rogers of Cornelius, and Amy Rogers Elkins of Lincolnton; a son Donald Dennis Rogers Jr. (Evelyn) of Lincolnton; a grandson, Donald Gabriel Rogers; a granddaughter Landry Ann Elkins; and two sisters, Rita Hamrick of Lincolnton, and Betty Rogers of Lincolnton.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service.
