Donetta Coleman Beam, 67, passed away Sunday June 19, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Hickory, NC. She was very loving, caring and devoted to many.
Donetta was born on May 27, 1955, in Hickory, NC to Betty Lou McDowell. She was last employed by CertainTeed (Owens Corning) prior to receiving her Associates degree in Office Administration from CVCC.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Doris Christian Coleman, stepfather Cornelius McDowell, sister Doris Ann Coleman, uncle Gerald Coleman, cousins Martha Horton, Mary Horton and grandson Gregory Montrice Coleman.
Donetta leaves to cherish her husband Thomas Beam, mother Betty Lou McDowell, sons Dylan Coleman, Greg Coleman, daughter Chalsey Coleman, and nieces Camille Abernathy and Alicia Coleman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close special friends. She is loved and will be missed by many.
The memorial service will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 27th, 202. at Friendship Baptist Church
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 PM PM Monday, June 27th, 202. at Friendship Baptist Church.
