Donna Sue Lewis Owens
Lincolnton NC- Donna Sue Lewis Owens, 61, of Lincolnton, N.C. passed away on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, at Atrium Lincoln. She was born March 2nd, 1962, in San Diego California, to the late Buddy Carroll Lewis and Dorothy Dean Helms Lewis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Diane Lewis Schronce; niece, Dawn Lewis; sister-in-law, Sherry Lewis; and son- in-law, David Frady.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Greenberry Owens Jr.; her seven children, Paul Lewis (Nikki), Cecilia Frady, Scott Owens (Cathy), Michael Owens (Debbie), Sheila White (Brian), Susan Powell, and Sandra Ferguson; her brothers, Glen Floyd (Susan) and Buddy Roger Lewis; her sisters, Cathy Stone (Ervin), Carol McKinney (Milton), and Penny Lewis; her 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The receiving of friends will be 9:45-10:45AM, July 15th, 2023 at Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church, located at 2810 Highland Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092. The memorial service will follow at 11AM.
Memorials made be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Atrium Lincoln, especially Dr. Perrin.
The family has entrusted arrangements to Jenkins Funeral Home.
