Dorothy Behling

Dorothy Mae Behling, 96, of Hickory passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Magnolia Lane. Born June 19th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kautza and Margaret Katherine Kautza. She loved bowling, dancing, and golf. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She will be truly missed by many.

She is survived by her son Dennis Behling and wife Sophia of Hickory, NC; and a grandson, Matt Meir (Sherie) and daughter Macie of Gilbert, AZ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Behling; a daughter, Marilyn; a brother, Art Kautza; and three sisters, Mildred Manlick, Lucille Garvens, and Lorraine Gruber.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
