Dorothy Mae Foote, 88, of Newton died Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 5th, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Eanus and Beatrice Little.
Her daughter, Sandra Foote, granddaughters, Hope Pearson (Phairlever), Alisa Nicole Bryant (Stacy), Shaimaica Early (Thomas); five great grandchildren, Asha Evans, Keshaun Ferguson, Shashana Woods, Zariah Woods and Amani Early and great-great granddaughter, Mia Evans survive her.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Herbert Augustus "Jack" Foote; her daughter, Drucilla Foote, three sisters, Annie Lois Mungro, Doshia Little and Carolyn Shuford, two brothers, Edward Little and Robert Little, special niece, Mashell Shuford and nephew, Michael Mungro and grandson, Kelvin Ferguson preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Maiden Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Gaines officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Central City Cemetery in Newton.
