Dorothy Price

Dorothy Elaine Price 74, of Hickory passed away Monday, June 26th, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born January 7th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Burns Robinson.  A daughter Janie Stillwell and husband Tommy of Hickory; two sons Troy Sudderth and wife Carol of Valdese, Todd Sudderth and wife Tanya of Conover; a step daughter Tracie Gurley and husband Derek of Valdese; two step sons Chuck Price of Las Vegas, NV., Jeff Price of Jacksonville Beach, FL.; a sister Patsy Robinson Bumgarner and husband Kenneth of Longview; a sister in law Lois Hatley Robinson of Hudson; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild survive her.   In addition to her parents, a brother William Harry Robinson preceded her in death.   Her memorial service will be 3:00pm Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at East Valdese Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Cline officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at the Church.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to East Valdese Baptist Church 101 Eldred St NE, Valdese, NC 28690 The family would also like to add a special thanks to Catawba Valley Medical Center Staff and if anyone would like to send thank you cards to them, it would be appreciated.   Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
