Dorothy Pauline Styers Richards, 91 of Newton died Tuesday, October 02, 2012 at Hickory Lutheran Home, West. Born May 8, 1921 in Gaston County, NC she was the daughter of the late Paul Palmer Styers and Flora Harn Styers. Dorothy?s interests included antiques, books and cats. Her husband James Melvin Richards preceded her in death. One niece; one nephew; numerous cousins; and many dear friends survive her. No services are planned at this time.
