Earleen Lingerfelt

Donnie Earleen Lingerfelt, 89, of Hickory, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 4th, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Fitchue Leatherman and Helen Luellen Roberts.

Dad always said "See you tomorrow." Moms "tomorrow" has come, and while we are devastated, we rejoice. She will spend eternity in heaven with Dad, family and her friends.

Surviving her passing include her children, Danny Lingerfelt and wife Janet of Hickory, Debra Hurley and husband Tom of Maiden, Tim Lingerfelt and Wateree of Davidson, Lisa Lingerfelt and boyfriend Stan Clontz of Hickory; daughter-in-law Beverly Lingerfelt of Hickory; grandchildren, Chad Lingerfelt and wife Jennifer, Kevin Lingerfelt and wife Erica, Kimberly Rogers and husband Chris, Rhonda Forner and Matt, Misty Patterson and husband Chris, Shawn Lingerfelt and wife Shanda, Haley Michal, Bradyn Roberts and Jackson Lingerfelt. In addition, Earleen leaves 14 great-grand children, five great great-grandchildren and a numerous amount of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, Earleens husband Hal "Jack" Lingerfelt; son, Mitch Lingerfelt; grandson, T.J. Hurley; great-granddaughter Bailey Renae Patterson and brothers Benny and Ricky Leatherman preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Tri-City Baptist Church. The funeral will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Tri-City Baptist Church with Pastor Hugh Whitfield and Dr. Hampton Drum officiating. The family will hold a private burial at Catawba Memorial Park.
