Earline Miller

Earline Yvonne Cabell Miller, 55 of High Ridge Circle, Maiden died at Catawba Valley Medical Center Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Born May 31, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Lucy Marie Sexton Cabell of Beckley, WV and the late Charles Daniel Cabell. She was an avid fan of the WV University Mountaineers. The family wishes to thank the management and staff of Italy Grill in Newton and IHOP in Hickory for their above and beyond love and support. In addition to her mother, her husband, James Anderson Miller of the home: a daughter, Devona Bright and her husband James of Maiden; A sister, Patricia Walker and her husband Keith of Ripley, WV; a brother, Charles Lee Cabell and his wife Linda of Beckley; three grandchildren, James Andrew Bright, Jacob Bright and Jordan Bright and two honorary children, Keith Rhyne of Statesville and Christopher Priddy of Asheville. A sister, Deidra Parsons preceded her in death. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville, WV with Rev. David Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery in Orgas, WV. Pastor Joseph Yarborough will have ministerial comments at 5:00 pm Friday during the receiving of friends in Newton from 5-7:00 pm at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Saturday from 5-7:00 pm at Armstrong Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Conover School 108 7th Street Place SW Conover, NC 28613.
