Eddie Lloyd

Eddie Ray Lloyd Sr., 71, of Hickory passed away Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at his home. Born January 30th, 1948 he was the son of the late George Raymond Lloyd and Ella Mae Lloyd.  He was a veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a brick mason for Hickory construction as well as a member of the American Legion in Granite Falls. He loved his two dogs, Buffy Mae and Kasey Lee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Tommy Lloyd, Jerry Lloyd, and sisters Sue Bradbury and Judy Smith.

He is survived by daughter, Lee Bolick and husband Jeff of Hickory, son Jason Lloyd and wife Adalia of Vale, son Eddie Ray Lloyd Jr., a sister Trudy Brown and husband Joe of Connelly Springs, and eight grandchildren. He will truly be missed. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
