Edward Grover

Edward Joseph Grover, Sr., 72, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Selma Mina White and Harper B Grover. He worked for Lucent Technology & ATT Labs for 32 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers & Whitesville Volunteer Fire Company #1 in Jackson, NJ. He was a member of the new residents club in Cape Coral, Florida & at Kingston Assisted Living Center a member of the Drama Club. His wife of 47 years, Elizabeth Louise Osborn Grover of Conover, NC; a daughter, Maureen Elizabeth Buehl-Ungar & (John) of Manahawkin, NJ; Four sons, Edward J. Grover, of Colorado Springs, Co., Patrick Allen Grover & (Tracy) of Hickory, NC, Brian Michael Grover & (Marcella) of Conover, NC, James Andrew Grover, Sr. & (Kimberly) of Hickory, a sister Carol Borga, 10 grand-children and 6 great-grandchildren, survive him. The funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at George S. Hassler Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, NJ. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Whitesville Methodist Cemetery in Jackson, NJ.
