Edward McCoy Starnes 62 of Hickory passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home. Born July 31st, 1958 he was the son of The late L.C Green and Linda Sue Starnes. Edward served 6 years in the USMC. He was a simple man who loved to fly toy air planes, play the guitar and dirt track racing. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A daughter Sonya Starnes of Hickory; a son Jacob Starnes of Hickory; and four grandchildren, Tyreke Adams, Destiny Starnes, Shaimez Poston, and Alonzo Cunningham survive him.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
