Edwin Velez-Martinez

Edwin Felix Velez-Martinez, 61, of Hickory died Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born June 12th, 1962 he was the son of Juan Felix Velez-Arias and Carmen Martinez-Rivera .

His parents, Carmen Velez-Martinez and Juan F. Velez-Martinez; his daughter, Aslin Velez-Arroyo; two sons, Jonathan Velez-Arroyo and Bryan Velez-Arroyo; his spouse, Mercedes Lanzo; two grandsons, Danny S. Londono Velez and Xariel Trinidad Velez; granddaughter, Mia Trinidad Velez; son-in-law, Xavier Trinidad; two daughter-in-laws, Bethzaida Santiago and Lemarie Birriel; step-daughter, Yaitza Rosario; two step-grandsons, Will Del Valle and Ruby Del Valle and a brother, Edgar Velez survive him.

His brothers, Juan F. Velez-Martinez and Albert F. Velez-Martinez preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
