Efren Carreon-Chavez

Efren Israel Carreon-Chavez 33 of Catawba, NC died Wednesday July 3rd, 2013 at CMC Charlotte as a result of an accident. Born November 21st, 1979, he was the son of Miguel Carreon-Castro and Emma Chavez-Mejia of Mexico. He was an upholsterer with Southern Furniture and was a musician. His wife of 15 years, Carolina Belman-Temple of the home; two sons, Rodrigo Carreon Belman and Irvin Carreon of the home; a daughter, Krysten Nicole Carreon of Claremont; his parents, Miguel Carreon Castro and Emma Chavez-Mejia of Mexico; three brothers, Alejandro Gabriel Carreon and Hugo Enrique Carreon of Mexico and Edgar Salvador Carreon of Hickory; paternal grandmother Angela Castro-Silva of Mexico and maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Mejia of Mexico, numerous uncles and aunts survive him. His paternal grandfather, Leonardo Carreon and maternal grandfather, Amando Chavez preceded him in death. The funeral mass will be 7:00 pm Monday July 8th, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gabriel Carvajal Salazar officiating.
