Etta Linder

Etta Ree Linder, 82 of 30th Street SW Hickory died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born February 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Amos Weldon and Minnie Luckadoo McCraw. In addition to her husband of almost 64 years, Wardlaw "Bud" Linder of the home; a daughter, Susan Linder Archer and husband Rick of Lincolnton; a son, Darryl L. Linder and wife Melinda of Hickory; four grand-children and nine great grand-children survive her. A son, Everette W. Linder and grand-son, Ward Linder preceded her in death. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March, 17, 2012 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hickory. Pastor Scott Hooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
