Eugene Robbins 91, of Conover passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at his Home. Born, July 27th, 1929 he was the son of the late Zeb Henry and Sarah Robbins Leonhardt. Gene was an avid member of Huntington Hills Church of God now Lifepoint Church of God. He worked at Fleming Fabric for 20 years, worked at Hickory Spinners for 19 years and in the furniture business for over 20 years. Gene was a loving father, grandfather, and great grand father and will be missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 70 years Willie Grace Johnson Robbins; Tona Joyce Heffinger and husband Wayne of Hickory; son in law Hugh Littlefield of Hickory; a sister Vickie Leonhardt of Hickory; four grandchildren Michael Littlefield and wife Elaine of Conover, Jennifer Heffinger and husband Matthew of St. Augustine, Fl, Stephanie Gant and husband Ryan of Hickory, Brandon Littlefield of Hickory; four great grandchildren Marcus Littlefield of Conover, Meagan Seacrest and husband Chris of Monroe, Lawson Martin St. Augustine, Fl, and Josephine Martin of St. Augustine, Fl; God daughters Cheri Andrew and husband Glen of High Point, Amanda Sparks and husband Drew of Highpoint; Adopted Granddaughter Deya Majeed of Hickory; Niece Ginny Little and husband Phillip and daughter Sophia; Nephews Toney D. Robbins and wife Martha and son Derrick of Hickory, and Jeff Robbins of Hickory survive him. Gene also has a Great Great Grandchild expected July 2021 named Baby Jean.
In addition to his parents, a daughter Debra Jean Littlefield; and a brother Tony Robbins preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 11:00 am Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at LifePoint Church with Pastor Harv Turner officiating.
