Evelyn Bevan

March 10, 1916 — January 29, 2018

Evelyn Blanche Bevan 101, peacefully left us January 29, 2018 after living a long wonderful life, having been born on March 10, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband James; her mother Viola and father Franklin; a sister Audrey with whom she was as close as a twin, two brothers and a daughter-in-law Dottie Bevan. She was much loved by her daughter Diane and husband David Fields, her son Lee and granddaughter Kelly Crane, both of Florida, two great granddaughters and three great grandsons and many nieces and nephews who continued in her life even though she moved 18 years ago from East McKeesport, PA, where she was born and lived most of her adult life. Although she had outlived most of her peers, she made new friends at Kingston residence in the past year and was also loved and adopted by Diane's and David's friends in NC.

She was a moving force in Girl Scouts in Allegheny Co. PA; was a Gray Lady working with pediatric patients for the Red Cross for years; was quite an accomplished golfer according to friends and a lifelong Methodist with both a Grandfather and brother as ministers.

A  Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date for friends and family at Kingston Residence
