Frances Costner

Frances Lovine Costner, 82, of Hickory passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. Born July 3rd, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Ernest D Costner and loving mother Bertha Craig Costner.

Frances was a member of The Salvation Army Church, The Women's Ministry, and the Golden Circle Seniors Group.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Crosby and husband Tom of Hickory; a son Larry Costner of Hickory; two grandchildren Thomas "Tommie" Crosby II of Hickory and Melissa McCloud of Hickory; eight nieces and nephews Glenda Canipe, Carolyn Kinney and husband Donald, Mary Cansler, Diane Buchanan, Donald Buchanan and wife Pam, John Costner, Janet Hicks, and Michael Costner and wife Lorie; and a special friend Glenn Mays.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by infant son Keith Glen Costner; three sisters Elsie Underwood, Betty Franklin, and Florence Buchanan; and three brothers Howard Costner, David Costner, and Paul Costner.

The memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at The Salvation Army at 750 3rd Ave Pl SE Hickory, NC 28602.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Salvation Army at 750 3rd Ave Pl SE Hickory, NC 28602.
