Francis "Junior" Courtney

Francis Edward "Junior" Courtney 74 of Lincolnton died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Carolina Caring Hospice House. Born August 22nd, 1949 in Asheville, North Carolina. Junior was active withe the Salvation Army in Asheville and a member of the Reallife Community Church in Iron Station, NC.

He is survived by wife of 6 years, Linda Helms Courtney; children, Amanda Courtney of Asheville, Travis Courtney of Swannanoa, Richie Owenby and wife Kristina of Cherryville, and Mikayla Owenby of Virginia; grandchildren, Emorie and Maverick Courtney and beloved dog, Sadie.

Parents, Lou Etta and Edward Courtney and siblings Teresa and Glenn Courtney, preceded him in death.

The Memorial Service will be 3:00pm, Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Reallife Community Church, 5467 NC-27, Iron Station, NC 2808. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45pm prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Reallife Community Church Building Fund.
