Frank McKinney 80 of Vale died Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 14th, 1938 he was the son of the late Robert Lee McKinney and Hattie McKinney. A member of King's Way Baptist Church, he was a loving husband who loved his family and his two fur babies. A US Army veteran, he was a truck driver most of his career.
His wife of 22 years, Margie Howard McKinney of the home; a daughter, Darlene S. Phillips and husband Ray of Vale, NC; two sons, Tommy Stilley of Connelly Springs and DeWayne McKinney and wife Ronita of Spruce Pine; a sister, Eloise Cromer and husband Jim of Hickory; six grandchildren, Brandy Head and husband Kevin, Amber Minton and husband Jason, Brandon Phillips, Dale McKinney, Conetha Stilley and Vance Stilley and five great grandchildren survive him.
A sister, Bernice Burleson and a grandson, Bryan Phillips preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday May 11, 2019 at King's Way Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Stephens officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday May 11, 2019 at the church.

Military Honors will be provided by the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard and Army National Guard.
