Fredia Marie Hall Partin, 65 of Hwy 127 S Hickory died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 15, 1942 she was the daughter of Ferrin Roscoe Hall of Port St. Lucie, Florida and the late Oma Virginia Robbins Hall. She was strong willed, loving and dedicated her life to being a mother and grandmother. She knew how to fashionably accessorize and was an avid cross stitcher, doing complicated patterns within a short period of time. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband Leamon Partin Sr.; four sons, Leamon Partin Jr. and his wife, Kim of Conover, Philip Partin of Hickory, Kiowa Partin Sr. and his wife, Chastity of Hickory, and Wesley Partin and his wife, Amanda of Hildebran; two daughters, Martina Poteat and husand Michael of Hickory and Lisa Starnes of Hickory; three sisters, Omalee Whitaker of Griffin, GA, Pat Killian of Newton and Ada Horne of Sylva; two brothers, Jim Hall of West Palm Beach, Florida and Eddie Hall of Royal Palm, Florida; a half brother, Buck Robbins of Norton, Virginia; 14 grandchildren, Christofer Poteat, Kenny Lee, Kenneth Poteat, Joshua Partin, Brandon Partin, Devin Partin, Jacob Starnes, Megan Partin, Travis Partin, Summer Partin, Kayla Partin, Kiowa Partin Jr., Kaleb Partin and Hailey Marie Partin. A daughter, Monica Shea Partin and brother Kyle Hall preceded her in death A Celebration of Frediaâ??s life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel UCC Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
