Gabrielle Leonard

Gabrielle Brenne Leonard, 28, of Hudson died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her residence. Born October 15th, 1993 she was the daughter of Randy Leonard and the late Sherrill Leonard. Gabrielle, who preferred to be called GiGi, grew up in Hickory, North Carolina where she graduated from Hickory High School. She worked as a counselor at Focus Behavior Group where she loved her job. She also loved to camp out with family and friends and loved to fish with her dad.

Her memory and loving spirit will forever be cherished by her father, Randy Leonard; step-mother, Nicole Leonard; grandfather, Rev. Ronnie Neely Sr, grandmother, Rev. Jacqueline Bruce Elliott; brother, Randtavius Leonard; sisters, Shatia Brown and Nikkia Simpson; nieces and nephews, Zamaya Sanders, Khi'lee Nicole Moore and Samuel Moore.

In addition to her mother, her grandmother, Brenda Boyd Sanders; her grandfather, Rev. J.T Elliott Jr. and two brothers, Donald Simpson and Steven Simpson preceded her in death.

A celebration of life will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M.
