Geneva Earp

Geneva Lucille Dillard Earp, 84 of Hickory died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. Born in Patterson, NC on July 10th, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Vilas Edward Dillard and the late Gladys Elaine Dillard. Geneva was of strong Baptist faith. She began her lifelong career of Cosmetology at a young age. She enjoyed meeting people and helping those in need. She was an avid historian and loved Genealogy. She was a volunteer at Frye Hospital and a Train host for Amtrak trains.

Geneva is survived by son, Tim Woods and wife Sherry of Lenoir; five grandchildren, Katie Amber Green and husband Clint, Haley Alexandra Rostan and husband Andrew, Trevor Woods, Bailey Woods Brown and husband James, and Zackary Woods; four great-grandchildren Grayson, Charlotte and Cecelia and Caden; and three cats she adored, Bear, Socks, and Gray.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Eugene Dillard and son Todd Earp.

The Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park 2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenior, NC.
